The Cañon City Area Recreation and Park District has received grant funding to improve the Arkansas Riverwalk Dog Park.  This will include adding a small dog park, widening the walking track, improving signage, adding benches and tables, replacing the agility equipment, and adding other dog park equipment.  In mid December Recreation District staff will begin installing the small dog park, walking track expansion, and new signage.  In late January to early February we will begin the process of installing the agility equipment and some additional signage.
