Youth Basketball

The basketball program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game, sportsmanship, teamwork, and having fun.

Games are played at Harrison School and Cañon City Middle School. The season will be seven or eight weeks depending on the division.

REGISTRATION:

October 16th - December 1st (Register by November 24th and save $10)

Little Slammers Coed (6-8 years of age)
Young American Coed (9 & 10 years of age)
All American Coed (11 & 12 years of age)
All Pro (13 & 14 years of age)

***Boys and Girls divisions will be offered if numbers allow in the All American and All Pro Leagues***

GAMES:

Games are played on Saturdays beginning January 13, 2024

PRACTICES:

No more than two days a week, days and times are up to the coaches

COSTS:

Little Slammers League: $55 (In-District), $70 (Out-of-District)
Young American League: $70 (In-District), $85 (Out-of-District)
All American & All Pro League: $75 (In-District), $90 (Out-of-District)

Schedule and Standings

Starting this past fall we started using a program called Team Sideline. All schedules, rosters, standings and coaches' communications will now be through this platform. You can access this at www.teamsideline.com/ccrec or download the app. If you have used this app for the fall season(football or soccer), then you will see your team once rosters are created. If you are new, then don't worry, information will be provided by your kid's coach and the District after coaches meetings.
