The Cañon City Area Recreation and Park District is hosting the annual Clean Up Green Up event on Saturday April 27th. It is a great time for the community to work together and help clean up trails, open spaces, and riverbanks. With everyone working together we can clean up the areas around the Arkansas River corridor through Cañon City, the Arkansas Riverwalk, John Griffin Regional Park, South Cañon Trails.
Come help protect our water and area recreational resources by removing trash along the Riverwalk and area trails. All across Colorado volunteers will be picking up trash to help clean up and green up Colorado’s rivers and by-ways this spring.
