There were three questions on the 2024 November ballot.  Here are the results:

CITY OF CAÑON CITY BALLOT ISSUE 2A: SALES AND USE TAX INCREASE FOR A COMMUNITY POOL

  Yes/For                             7,073     (48.15%)

  No/Against                    7,615     (51.85%)

  Yes/For                            7,395     (50.30%)

  No/Against                    7,303     (49.70%)

WHAT DO THESE RESULTS MEAN?

Questions 2A and 6B passed, meaning capital construction of the swimming pool has been authorized by the voters.  However, operational mills to pay for the subsidy of the swimming pool has not been authorized with the failure of 6A.
