Cooper Trahern serves as USA Basketball’s Assistant Director of Finance. Before he arrived at USA Basketball, Trahern worked as a Controller in the construction industry for five years in Canon City, CO. Trahern has also worked as a Financial Analyst and Decision Support Analyst with various companies in Denver. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration - Finance, obtained in 2016 from the University of Denver. He received his Master’s in Professional Accounting from Colorado State University-Global in November of 2020. Trahern's past Board experience includes the Canon City Chamber of Commerce, where he served as Vice President of Finance and President. Trahern is a lifelong sports/recreation enthusiast, including competing in multiple sports, officiating, and coaching.
